Barmuda
You will loose yourself in Barmuda's cuisine, but unlike that triangle bearing the same name, you will re-emerge. This café is a favourite amongst locals for its all day – yes, you read right – breakfasts and lunches. The potato pancakes are a particular favourite amongst locals, as are the freshly baked muffins. There are also plenty of Modern Australian cuisine dishes on the menu for the gourmands. Meanwhile, the service is friendly and efficient. Dine upstairs, if only for the experience of walking up the spiralling staircase.

The serving of spinach was generous, the mushrooms big and not too oily and the eggs were done to perfection (for me, firm not sloppy). The coffee was also great. When Ive been there in the past with friends who had an 18 month old, the staff were very friendly and made us feel completely welcome. Some places like to make you feel like youre in the way or disturbing other customers or at least are not overly friendly in order to discourage ...read more
