How I wish I had read these posts before dealing with this company. Delivery arrived in a milk truck, some items were not even picked up, on complaining no effort was made to correct the error on their part. Very upsetting dealings. DON'T USE THEM FOR GOOD QUALITY FURNITURE
Dont use them!
This slack company has not even deserved half a star, as they dont give a damn about customer care. Being the sole agent for all shipping companies including but not limited to the Toll Group and Star Track they enjoy a monopoly in this area. They do not see fit to deliver goods marked EXPRESS immediately after their arrival at their depot, but when they want to, which means anything but prompt. A snail is moving faster than Bay Island Carriers. A complaint to the ACCC might be in order.
Totally unreliable.
I had ordered goods from an overseas seller, who contracted a major EXPRESS shipping company, who in turn subcontracted Bay Island Carriers with the delivery of my order. Bay Island Carriers, however, kept my order for THREE (3!) WEEKS before they, but only after my repeated complaints to the main carrier, bothered to send it to my suburb, but NOT to my address.
This is not the first negative experience I had with this company, as all carriers, are using Bay Island Carriers for deliveries to so-called "remote areas", even when they are located within the Metropolitan Area of Brisbane.
