Bay Road Nursery

Biggest rip off EVER!

My husband, our 3 year old son and myself went to breakfast. Lovely setting, food nothig spectacular, coffee was good.

A big breakfast, scrambled eggs on toast, poached eggs with bacon and mushrooms, 1 cappuccino, 1 flat white and 3 orange juices.....

$90!!!!!!

What a joke. Don't bother.

You wouldn't think a nursery would house a caf on site but that does what Bay Road does! Brilliant idea- great to be able to buy flowers or plants and have a coffee and cake or some lunch on the hop! Some lovely plants and pots and gifts- although not the cheapest prices. I suppose you can't have everything!

There is a cafe attached to this nursery and it is a very tranquil place to sit and eat. The food was delicious! We bought an indoor palm and the person who worked there was very helpful.

A great nursery with very knowledgeable staff. Not the cheapest place to buy plants, but a great place to browse and pick up the odd gem. The gift shop is great too - some really interesting and unusual items. Finally, take a rest at the cafe before you leave. Good coffee and lovely cakes. Lunches are good too, with plenty of space for family sized groups. It's one of my regular haunts!
