Walked in with pregnant wife for a quick snack. Ordered three steamed dim sims and one fried dim sim realised after eating three quarters of one there was a hair! Wife said mistakes happen eat the rest and ill return that one then I realised the other had another longer hair wrapped around it. After returning and asking for a refund I got no apology but some blank looks and a partial refund as I already ate some! Will never eat here again.
First off, great prices, if your looking for a good meal for low low money then this F&C is for you. Next point, I have been three times now and each time I have been very happy with my meal, while it is no caviar, it is good ole F&C.
Lastly I strongly suggest the flake and souvlaki's, both are turley delicious.
Time for a recent review. I had flake and chips. The fish was surprisingly nice and it was a generous size offering value for money. I wasn't so keen on the taste of the fat. It tasted like it had been through several frys and I prefer my F&C cooked in fresh oil.
The batter was good and had some nice crunch to the edge. Unfortunately they lost me on the chips as they were overcooked, some dry and mostly soggy. I've had worse F&C but I've also had much better. Unfortunately, so far I've found it necessary to travel a fair distance for good F&C and that's not always practical. I doubt I'll be back.
