Matt and his team completed the plumbing on our renovation. 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. His team is professional, and the work was completed to budget and on schedule (a rarity amongst trades as we were to find out). Matt went above and beyond to advise us during our renovation, and we were delighted with the results on our bathrooms.
Matt and the team from Bligh Plumbing are valuable sub-contractors to my building company. Maestro Building Services. Matt and the team are always punctual, courteous, honest and professional when dealing with myself and my clients, which is vital in this industry. Not only do they tick the boxes as far as being licenced with all the appropriate insurances but with their level of knowledge and expertise in the plumbing field it's a relief as a builder to know that I can trust that work is always going to be done at the highest quality and standard. That's why I recommend Bligh Plumbing to many clients.
We have been employing Bligh Plumbing for years now. Initially we needed maintence in our bathroom but have since used them for a major renovation where we drew on their knowledge and experience with high end work to complete our dream bathroom and kitchen (whilst completing a significant addition to the house). Communication was excellent and we really appreciated that we could trust the team within our home to make decisions in our best interests in relation to budget and quality products.
Carried out partial bathroom renovation. Communication was very difficult and everything was never really was confimed until last minute. Every step needed much encouragement in order to actually progress. 2 years after the reno we discover a major leak. Plummer doesn't reply to calls nor texts. Just not interested in fixing the problem. Finally gets in touch after legal action threat email and sends apprentice who in on the phone the whole time and says they can't locate leak and have to outsource to bigger company. Poor service rating is too generous.
Dear Ritereview, we are sorry you feel this way. When placing a review we appreciate honesty, however, what you have written is defamation and incorrect.
To clarify (1 0f 2 posts):
- Fully qualified tradesman plumber, not apprentice, attended your property.
- The investigation found the source of the leak in a one hour period and action needed was advised. Fixing of the issue was offered on the spot (Friday morning) and you asked for us to attend on the Monday instead, which was offered for 7:30am on the Monday. Confirmation the night before was sent via text message, of which you replied at 7:22am Monday that you longer wanted us to ...read more
Following on-
- Nothing was outsourced, and as mentioned, we were ready to conduct work to fix the leak on the spot.
- Your initial phone call was missed whilst on a scaffold and you were contacted later that same day.
- Text message record shows an uncomplicated process of booking in the investigation. You contacted us on a Wednesday. We responded to you Wednesday evening, booking you in for Friday morning (Thursday being a public holiday).
_ No legal action was threatened on your part, with your email to us explaining the problem. If there was a problem with our plumbing from 2 years ago it would have been rectified for you, no problems, which you understood when we attended the property and had it explained to you that the leak is from pre-existing plumbing.
Final portion of reply (due to word count restrictions)-
- The tradesman attending your property was on the phone for three reasons- recording the leak/investigation process, speaking to the boss who remembered your job from 2 years ago and organising to book you in for the Monday as you decided not proceed on the Friday for personal reasons. The leak was located in the first hour and as is standard practice, charges incur in one hour increments.
- Your job from 2 years was a simple installation of bath and vanity which went well and smoothly, with you being positive about the experience at the time.
Having to deal with an unexpected plumbing issue can be difficult for clients and an emotional time, but in future please ensure your facts are correct, especially when posting on a social media platform.
