You can tell that this is a well-loved restaurant among the locals - the staff new the patrons by name and it really felt like a family affair. I visited with some friends during Chinese New Year and ordered the set banquet - lucky we booked as the place was packed! The food was tasty and fresh and generous in serving size. Since it was CNY, the restaurant hosted lion dancing and firecrackers - it was an awesome experience and everyone really loved it.

normal fried rice at lunch cost $25!! tea cost $4 per head!.... It is ridiculous expensive in a this below average standard Chinese restaurant with heap of MSG!
You can have it just $12 everywhere during lunch~~~ They just rip you off and didn't offer menu for you to choose.... they are sucking customer blood!
Blue Dragon restaurant is a staple in the Northmead region. It's long been one of my favourites for good, classic Chinese food and staff that friendly, personable and willing to go above and beyond for their customers.
It's not only great for a quick take-out, but also fantastic for groups and birthdays.
Special shout-out to their event days like Chinese New Year. Always a good time at the Blue Dragon!
