Small cafe, ingredients are locally sources and organic when possible. Staff were not too friendly but service is fine. Owner/manager was very cheerful & friendly in contrast. Steak was very good, Benedict was fine, the chicken breast was a bit dry. Was told that it is one of the favourite amongst customer. Maybe the dryness was just that once.
I assume this caf has recently changed hands and had a new name. the thai beef salad was nice and enough to satisfy. the fried calamari was served with chips and basic salad (we have purchased a deal for 2 main meals - but mine came with 4 calamari rings which I assume was the entree size?) and I am not a fan of fried calamari and the fried wedges only made it more unhealthy and oily. also have a seafood linguini and various breakfast meals (dishes with eggs/avocado/tomatoes/etc). lattes were quite good. the management initially was very standoffish but warmed up by the end of our visit. there are plenty of dining options on swan street and this one is not one of the best.
