A couple of friends and I decided to take a midweek off work and have a brunch day chill out. We decided to come local (well local to my friends) and go to good ol' Boatdeck. We ordered a tonne of food (so it seemed) and were so full. The Boatdeck Bruschetta I usually order tasted different to what it used to, to my opinion anyways, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it if it was the tomatoes they used or the sauce. The Spaghetti Marinara my friend ordered was made-well she said and the serving size was quite big! Another friend ordered the Pollo chicken which I had a try of and that was also nice and such a big serving.
Good Ol' Boatdeck Cafe. Do enjoy a good catchup here, chillin' out along the lake front. This time around though decided to order something different to the usual pizza or chips or bruschetta and got the salmon pasta instead. Glad I tried it but I wasn't a big fan of it, my friend and I found it too Salmon-y. The flavor of the salmon was quite over powering that we didn't finish the whole thing, unfortunately. Besides that though, the way they cooked up the pasta was perfect.
It was my partners birthday and I had just got back from overseas not long before and hadn't done the groceries yet so decided for breakfast to find a bakery that had croissants and bring them back home. Unfortunately there's no bakeries like that around my area and other places that would have them were still closed for a Sunday morning, just as well Boatdeck Cafe come to mind and they had a menu online. Had a look and they did breakfast! Woohoo! Called them up to check if they did takeaway and they did! Awesome! Quick service, same prices. Anddd they had little cakes/tarts in store too so purchased one of them as the 'cake'. :)
