Mawson Lakes Hotel & Function Centre

Very disappointing service each time. Won't be going again. Staff are apologetic for cold food and waiting up to an hour sometimes more but just not good enough!

Got flustered having a flutter in the gaming room. It was quite and late and it was the worst service I have EVER experienced. Nobody in attendance each and every time somebody wanted coin. Absolutely shocking. Never, never again.

My girlfriends and I were trying to decide on a place nearby that was child friendly for dinner before I went overseas. First place that came to mind was Mawson Lakes Hotel (central to all of us in the ‘burbs). Why Mawson Lakes Hotel, it’s a big venue, they have good food and a salad bar, parking is easy and there is a little kids area where the kids can keep occupied and play/watch tv.

That night we were there, it was quite busy but our meals all came out all quite quickly and the service was really good. Certainly no complaints at all from the night.

Good pub, kids eat free between 3 and 6 weekday.

I live in Mawson Lakes and to have this pub as my local is truly disappointing. The meals are overpriced and tasteless. It's a well known fact amongst the locals that the gravy at this hotel is horrendous. There is no atmosphere, it's just a soulless production line. I gave it one star as it has my favourite beer on tap, but I drive to surrounding pubs for meals. Will never eat there again.
