Boatshed Cafe

I love Hallett Cove with the views over the beach and sea. The Boatshed Cafe has the ideal location to take advantage of this. We've been coming here since it's opened and applaud all it's improvements. We are regular customers and love it, but hope that a couple of suggestions may help your business. We've noticed every lunchtime that there is a lot of food left uneaten on the plates. When we were there yesterday with a couple of friends, they commented that they thought the prices were too high for a lunch menu. Given this, and given the wastage (we were all unable to eat our serves) we are suggesting that maybe you cut back $5 on the Pork, lamb, schnitzels etc and make the meals smaller. We feel that this change would make people feel much happier. Also yesterday there wasn't much of a selection of cakes available. Maybe that could improve. Hope these suggestions are helpful.

A perfect way to end the first half of the walking trail! My friend and I did the Marino to Hallett Cove Boardwalk and at the end of the trail we came by this bustling café called the Boatshed Café. How could you not resist a freshly made juice and smoothie or an egg and bacon roll. We decided to have a little break between our walk and order a smoothie and breakfast roll to share, it was really yummy. The atmosphere and surroundings were really nice and had perfect weather to match. Definitely will be back again next time I do this walk.

Awesome new addition of a relaxed kiosk option. Hallet Cove Beach & the Boatshed is like stepping intona resort.

Our winter walk on the beach was a perfect day, complete with hot chips for the kids and. Coffee enjoyed for us parents. We all had a great visit here. The staff were beautiful, and let us take the dog in to the outside area. They were helpful, but did manage to not know where we were sitting, and had our coffee's mixed up, not to mention burnt coffee. It was wayyyyy over done and tasted like an ash tray. I sent mine back and my husband just drank his as slow as he could to keep the peace.
The day was good, the service was good, but coffee was so terrible I wouldn't go back for a coffee

Truly one of the most delicious tasting freshly made pizzas you will taste in the area.
Tandoori chicken is my fav!
All the cakes and sweets are very reasonably priced considering it is a cafe. I honestly love the style this cafe is going for. And it's right on the beach front which makes for a perfect atmosphere on all occasions.
