Brakes Plus

Really had a dissappointing experience with the manager. Whether I am right or wrong in requesting a refund for a battery that was proven to be faulty (as opposed to only getting a replacement). As soon as I asked about a refund he went on the attack and was very abrasive.

I went to Ben because my Megane RS brakes needed to be replaced. Unfortunately because of circumstances beyond his control, the parts required did not arrive on time. Ben sourced replacement parts (of higher quality and more cost to himself) so he could deliver the vehicle at the promised time and price. Couldn't recommend more, fantastic and honest customer service.

I drove in with my brakes grinding. They carried out a free check on the spot within 15 minutes. I knew I needed brakes but was happy they do car servicing too! Garry quoted me a price much cheaper than I expected, I got a loan car and 3.5 hours later I was called and as promised my car was completely finished and ready.

Clinton and Jason from brakes plus really looked after me and my car. Even though my car is old and possibly not the easiest to work on, it was treated with the utmost respect and so was I. Having to travel to Geelong this afternoon, and knowing that my brakes were quite spongy, I rang Brakes Plus this morning, was told "bring the car in now and we'll take a look". Two minutes after I arrived, my Focus was on the stand, wheels off, and Clinton showed me the level of the car's brake pads, front and back, so I could see that only the back needed replacing as they were very low - really appreciated this, knowing I wasn't being ripped off for repairs that were not needed. We had a friendly chat whilst I waited, the brakes were changed, I paid a great price [way below what the Ford service centre charges] and was on my way in no time.

So, for pleasant and speedy service, excellent work and fair dealing, I strongly recommend the Brakes Plus repair centre.
