I have been pleased with the breads and cakes from Breadtop. They are normally quite fresh and soft. It wasn't until a few days ago that I bought a stale swiss roll that I found out that the customer service was non existant.
I am pretty much a breadtop junkie, so I knew the swiss roll didn't taste right.
I advised management about this, but they wanted to see my receipt. If anyone else has been here before, they would know that you don't always get a receipt when paying cash.
So I am sending out a word to all my family and friends that, you should always ask for a receipt at Breadtop, no matter how small the purchase because they deny all liability if you don't.
Beware of stale cakes.
