My first impression of the place was pure relaxing. Inside its dark and cosy like an underground burrow which is a great environment for a quite coffee. Staff were excellent and attentive and service was fast. Coffee was good and they made some good vegemite toast. Nice finishing touches like the water jugs that tops the whole experience off.
We are constantly on the lookout for a place to have afternoon tea on a Wednesday before choir. All we want is a decent coffee or drink and something to eat, like a cake or something. We didn't even know this place existed, so we thought we'd give it a go. We are still looking for somewhere to have a regular afternoon tea. We weren't overly happy with the drink selection and there was nothing to eat that suited our needs. Personally, we felt it was a bit divey, but we can see why it's so popular with some. There is a selection of art for sale on the walls, which perhaps has an acquired taste.
Not our favourite place, so we probably won't be back.
