My Mum and I usually shop at brimbank Brimbank Central Shopping Centre twice a week.
Today I went "Brimbank Asian Grocery" store to purchase a box of plastic desserts cups. At the paying counter, the shop owner counted the number of plastics cups in the box (there suppouse to be 8 cups in the box), as he finishing counting,
I ask him if there are 8 cups in there? and he said "Yes", trusting him to be honest about it.
I went to the next store and later re-counterd the number of platics cups in the box only to discover there were 6 in the box.

Myself and my fiancee shop here for Filipino Foods and find it has the largestrange of Filipino produce of any store we have found as yet in Melbourne. However, stocks are replenished periodcially for some popular items and so you need to ask about deliveries for certain products. The staff are very helpful, though, and with a wide range of Filipino ice-creams, chips, frozen foods (including fish), pre-packaged foods, biscuits, noodles and much more, this is the place to go for Filipino produce. We travel from South Morang periodically to do our Filipino grocery and related shopping.

Other than it's convenience, the prices are just a tad higher than your average Asian grocer in St. Albans or Footscray. I guess we're a society that pays for convenience right? A positive note is they have specials on products on a regular basis which I find to be very good. So keep a look out for them if you pop in. Just gotta weigh up the price of ...read more
