British Hotel

Honestly, this place really isn’t all that great. This is one of those places that I have happened to have visited a number of times, namely because friends would have dinner here every so often. The thing is that this place was particularly expensive, and the food wasn’t all that extensive either. It was more a gastro pub, a type of pub that I generally don’t really like.

Unfortunately The British Hotel is always a slight let down when we go however, I continue to persist. The staff are always ultra friendly and accommodating and it is cosy - particularly in winter. But the food always lets it down. on this occasion we stuck to the starter menu and had a tapas plate, the haloumi and the empanadas. Unfortunately not brilliant.

The steak was great,
And pork was too,
No-one used the cook your own BBQ.
Kids menu as you'd expect,
And garlic bread was cooked perfect.
Drink prices surprisingly reasonable,
Didn't get dessert for my credit card would've been full.
Staff were friendly but overworked,
And there's not enough space for waiters and people waiting for a table to lurk.
Altogether this visit was nice,
Though I'm not convinced it was worth the price.

Wonderful atmosphere - although a little crowded. The steaks are fantastic, but the food and drinks are a little on the expensive side.
If you're looking to go out with a group for a nice evening, this is definitely a good place to visit.

We go here for weekend lunch. I love the atmosphere, their pork belly is always great and my partner loves the ribs and salt and pepper squid. A great place to chill with friends in the outdoor area. Highly recommended
