had the gyro lamb wrap which was awful the lamb was grisley and heavily processed served with salad but there was not enough of it.would have liked to order the baked potatoes with coleslaw but there were none left. they had also run out of the creamy basil thai chicken stir fry. lasagne was available. coffees were quite good.
this milk bar/cafe has now become a larger cafe with nice lunches available at reasonable prices, such as baked potato with sour cream, bacon and coleslaw, pumpkin, fetta and pine nut wraps, felafel wraps, lasagne. coffees are OK, staff friendly, lots of tables inside and nice courtyard out back, was only open 2 days out of 4 easter days so difficult to know when it is open.
this old fashioned milk bar sells lollies by the bag, selected individually by you, like the good old days. we come here for lunch where they do a few meals such as freshly made sandwiches, toasted focacias, and a special such as brushetta or lamb wrap.there are a few seats inside and outside on street, the owners are lovely and friendly, coffees are great and millkshakes and ice creams in cones are available too, prices are very reasonable and open sat and sundays.
