Cafe Belle Vue

Went to lunch here one day recently, no greeting by staff who couldn't miss you. The only menu is on the table if you can get one which we had to find ourself. The menu is full of abbreviations with no explanation as to what they mean, and does not have a very large selection of meals for a cafe (no expected standard simple things like a nice salad sandwich/roll etc). The food is as with most places.. overpriced, which I would have ignored had the serving sizes been larger to match what you pay for, but sadly they were quite small and stingey, you would expect a so called "stockman"s beef wrap to be something filling and satisfying, but it was 90% lettuce, with maybe one very thin slice of actual beef in it, the entire wrap was maybe as thick as a deck of cards, and dripping a sauce everywhere that wasn't very tasty either, not nearly filling for a grown mans meal, and certainly not worth the price, my friends meal was also pretty small and unsatisfying for the ...read more
