Cafe Cre Asion
Cute little cafe located in Alberta Lane that offers a range of macarons including both traditional and Japanese inspired flavours such as, dark chocolate, black sesame, lychee and coconut, vanilla, green tea and many more.
Eat in or get a box of macarons to take away. If you are looking for something savoury, there are also sandwiches available.
This Asian inspired cafe would be Sydney's best kept secret if it wasn't so popular. Set on an innocuous corner in a back alley not far from Hyde Park, this cafe has a clean aesthetic and gorgeous menu.
Highly recommended is the matcha latte, and the counter display offers a mouth-watering variety of macarons and baked goodies with exotic flavours such as roasted green tea and black sesame.
An outstanding Japanese-French fusion cafe experience. Chef Yu Sasaki showcases his mastery of food and drink with restrained and balanced flavours from premuim and locally sourced ingredients. We tried the matcha latte, matcha tart, fondant, caramel tart, and the Single Origin Roasters brew, and were impressed beyond expectations with every bite. Tip: Try to get there early if you're after the fondant!
I had seen heaps of great photos here and so had to check it out. It's matcha heaven. Matcha muffins, latte, cheesecake, macarons, wow! The place was packed, hardly a space to sit. I ordered a chai, and a matcha muffin - it was amazing - fluffy, gooey and even a touch of cream inside. I also got some dainty little macarons and a chai latte. I really liked this place and it lives up to the hype.
It’s the place to go for all things matcha. Their matcha lattes are such a deep, vibrant green unlike other places that make the same drink so you know it’ll be deep and flavoursome! It’s great because there are many options of matcha infused deserts which are quite rare in cafes (there may be only one of often none on the menu). So yummy!
