Cafe Ibiza

Whilst the staff are very friendly the service was so so slow, particularly in response to sitting down and being served or attending when drinks are empty. They do pop a strawberry on your $6.50 sparkling if you fancy that.

We came for dinner one evening and enjoyed a lovely paella. One of the best i've had! It's a cute place with a fireplace which is lovely especially during the winter months. During the day it can get busy and it's sometimes difficult to get the waitresses attention, but overall a nice little place for a coffee or a bite.

I'm no coffee connoisseur but this was the worst coffee I have ever had, so bad I considered taking it back but was too far away. They were busy and I know that can take a toll but they tried to charge me $5.50 for a soy cap large, that's excessive. However I did see a lovely wait staff offer to pack an elderly ladies half of wrap into a takeaway container as she couldn't eat it all, when staff noticed her wrapping it in serviettes to put in her bag. I thought that was very sweet.

i had a lovely lunch besides a warm open fire, that the staff continuously refuelled with logs from i suspect, out the back.

the coffee was delicious and prices are affordable!!

i was able to enjoy my lunch with small conversations with the staff and learnt some interesting things about the history of the place!

i had the most splendid time. i would recommend it for groups of people or just going by yourself.

Love this Cafe..cannot believe other comments as I always get the BEST service here. The staff is always so friendly. The coffee is really great. They roast their own coffee beans onsight and I have never had a bad one here! Great for summer or winter. The awesome sandstone fireplace is very welcome in winter. Great food, coffee and service. Somewhere I always take out of town guests. A local icon.
