Cafe On Strand

Cute little cafe with a good breakfast menu. Coffee is decent, staff are nice.

Nice cafe located at the Croydon shops has a great menu and a menu with great variety. Manager Francis is super friendly and very attentive. I highly recommend the Banana French toast and the corn fritters!

Now, I don't have too much to say about this place but I recently moved into Croydon Park and... it's kinda... lame.

Anyway, one of the biggest upsides to my recent move is this Cafe. Contrary to some of the reviews below, I believe this is one of the best Cafe's in the area and I know it's been here for a really really long time.

The service at this place is a joke. After waiting for 15 minutes to even get a menu. A couple sat down beside us and were served first the wait staff then promptly left without even glancing in our direction. I was so offended I just got up and left. This occurred Friday the 30th at 9.30 am, two waitresses and give or take 3 to 4 tables.


Don't go here visit one of the many better Cafes s few doors down.

This place is terrible. The wait staff we had was extremely rude. They would not substitute items on the menu and said it was because it was Saturday and they were busy. They were not busy and it was not stated anywhere that they would not substitute. The food is overpriced and the meals are extremely small, it is also tasteless and very bland. I will never come to this place ever again and would not recommend it to anyone. I rated it half a star because you have to give it a rating, otherwise, I would give it no stars at all.
