Good cafe for a pizza, ordered a pizza with thelot and was amazed just how much filling was in it. The service was good, no complaints, and the person who served me was very professional. I enjoyed the pizza, and hopefully will return for another. This area is packed with food outlets, but all good, worth you while a trip to North Adelaide for some thing to eat.
My best friend and I had our hair done which took quite sometime, by the time we were both done at the hairdressers it was 930 and we were keen on some pasta! Decided to go down O'Connell street to see what cafe kitchens were still open by 10pm. Cafe Palazzo was - yay! We had to ask on arrival if they were still taking orders and the kitchen said yes if we could get our order in soon. Anyways, we sat down and decided to share garlic bread and the pollo chicken pasta. Don't know where the miscommunication went wrong if it was the waitress taking down my friends order wrong or if it was in the kitchen, but when our dish was served to us it definitely wasn't pasta, but whatever it was it did look yummy! I wouldn't be so picky most of the time but as I was craving pasta, I had to send it back to the kitchen. Good for a convenient meal before or after the movies, or an option better than junk food when you can't be bothered cooking. Its bright and cheery, but noisy. The level of service varies, and unfortunately more often than not I have been annoyed by its inefficiency. My soup never arrived, and it turns out they didn't even put it through when I ordered it! While they have an impressively extensive menu, the quality and presentation of the food is inconsistent, seemingly different each time and sometimes disappointing. Their coffee is nice though.
