Cafe' Rous EAT DRINK RELAXLocated on the way to the Rottnest Ferry Terminal at Rous Head, Cafe' Rous is a full scale Cafe' with a dedicated chef offering breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. There is proper barista coffee and a selection of cakes and take away items as well. Located at the Caltex servo, the site is open 7 days a week and includes a convenience store, shower facilities, free wi fi, a massage chair and a pin ball machine. There is also a selection of work wear, fishing gear, bait and automotive items and lubes. An ATM is also available.

What is going on in this place? The food is always great but the service seems to be getting WORSE! Half the waitstaff have no idea about what Im saying sometimes?? Dosent seem to have anyone running the place the staff obviously just do what they want. I am a regular weekend customer to cafe Rous and was very dissapointed to see the kitchen staff has changed AGAIN in the afternoons, when I came in yesterday, thanks for my COLD meal, will be letting my work colleagues know about my recent experiences.
We bought hot chips last night and there were ones still frozen. One chip tasted just like dirt. We all threw them away. It is the 4th time I have been disappointed here. How hard is it to heat up chips? I bought hot food from the counter it tasted just like oil. Never eat the chicken here. The servings are tiny, The prices for everything is really high. The service here is rubbish. Eat here at your own risk.
Surprised to read this comment and think maybe you haven't been to Cafe' Rous before! I go there all the time and find the service top notch and the food excellent and very reasonably priced. They sell the best Chicken Caesar Wrap for only $5.50.
jsh_17 Do you work there? As I said, it is the 4th time I have been disappointed. We will not go there again. Please check the comments on this site for "Rouse Head Cafe'", same place, if you are in doubt.

I was really surprised to see your comments as we pride ourselves on our food and service. We are not the same establishment as Rous Head Cafe' (which was knocked down a few months back) we are a new Cafe' at the Caltex on Rous Head. We take on board all feedback and are always trying to improve. Hi Amy, the comment was made 1 month ago, 05/11/13. Rous Head Cafe' was what I searched for first as well. I think the old place was pulled down around May.
