" Well what can I say about the exceptional service & genuine friendliness of Di & Charlotte at Calypso . I have been going to the salon for a number of years now & they make you feel so welcome, its not like you are going there to get your hair done its more like a catch up with friends. The added bonus you always walk out looking a million bucks .......... They are so flexible, nothing is ever to much trouble I couldn't get there on Saturday , but really needed my hair done , so they accommodated me with a appointment on a Wednesday night. "EXTRAORDINARY" . I am 5 months pregnant & with my hair looking this good I feel fabulous today . Great service, the highest standard of hairdressing & reasonable priced good products .I have had some good hairdressers in the past , but they don't even come close to comparing to Di & Charlotte , can I also mention I travel 40 kl ms to get there .

Wish there were more businesses around like this. The care taken with clients is wonderful and should be an example for all businesses, not just hair salons.

Experience means everything in this business and it is quite evident that the staff of Calypso are well versed in customer care as well as hair care.

Free advice is forthcoming and the suggestions are always worth listening to.

The specials are outstanding and it is wonderful to see a salon prepared to publish their prices on their web site.

Products are first rate and there is no pressure to buy!!

Air conditioning is wondeful - especially during summer months and there is heaps of parking - unlike Oxford Street in Bulimba.

Flexibility of appointment times is worth mentioning as well.

Clearly, this is teh most professional salon in the area and this is reflected by the regular clientele.

Could not ask for better service - and people I have known for years are for the first time complementing me on my hair.

The free advice on hair care is invaluable.

The salon does sell products but these are not forced upon the client, as is the case with some other salons.

Also great to go to a business in the Bulimba area with there are no parking problems.

Specials are wonderful as well.

Not happy at all booked in for a special they had on offer which was $90 for a semi 10 foils and a cut and blow dry only to be charged more than I should have been as the hairdresser decided without consultation to put a demi colour on instead of a semi and that voided the special I had booked in for requiring me to pay full price for the service with a 10% discount totalling $153, I then discovered when I straighten my hair at home that my cut is 1cm shorted on one side of my head. I have asked for a refund for part of my service (the cut) and I am yet to hear back. I wouldnt recommend this salon to anyone.
