Celsius Restaurant & Bar

Absolutely top notch food, I travel constantly across the country and this is by far the number one restaurant on my list. Service was fantastic also.

This restaurant used to be Fig but has changed hands.

When we were seated with the napkins untouched, no offer of water and no menus and the waitress left we were unsure what we were in store for the rest of the night however, after this the service was excellent for the rest of the night.

We started with appetizers and they were all delicious - we especially loved the curds and whey and the braised lamb shoulder but the pigs head terrine was also excellent - don't let the name put you off!! The serving size was excellent for the prices.

The mains were equally as good. Our lamb was cooked to perfection as was the duck breast. No room for dessert unfortunately so I can't comment on that. We will definitely return!

Needed a nice place for a group outing and decided to try Fig. I made a good choice. The decor is very sleek with a lounge area in the front and several dining areas - love the couples booths on the side. The gauzy curtains are a good way of dividing the restaurant without creating closed in spaces. We were at a long centre table in the restaurant but even though there was two different groups dining on it, there was enough division so that we felt like we had our own table.

The staff were efficient all night - water was constantly topped up and our wine glasses were full. The food was good - no complaints anywhere and we managed to cover most of the menu. The wine list had a good selection and was reasonably priced.
