Our dog died at their kennel while we were on holidays and they did not show any care or empathy, loveless and rude is the best description, they buried our dog and we never saw him again, do not use this kennel if you care about your pet, cant say enough bad things about them.
Hi John.
I just want to reasure you that your little dog was lovinly cared for and tended while you were on holidays overseas. He was diligently given the medication prescribed by your Vet and feed the special food which you provided. When he unexpectedly died, we buried him in a peaceful place in our garden and planted a Fox Tail Palm to mark his grave.....The alternate was to send him to Council Land Fill.
It has been 7 months since he died and you have not once come to visit his grave. Perhaps you fear , we will ask for the outstanding Kennel Fees.
We left our Doberman with this kennel for almsot 6 months in 1983 while we were overseas, and were most impressed by the care that gave our lovely Doberman, so much so, that when the poor old dear became ill and died some years later we purchased a chocolate doberman puppy from them, and were most happy with the temperament of that puppy who lived with us for many years till she also passed away, and we were always impressed with the caring manner in which they looked after both our dobes when we travelled, and would not believe that the care given to your dog is anything less than perfect care, and cannot understand any negative review given to the family at Chandler Boarding kennels, we think the dog must have been the problem
I have been using Chandler for the last 7 years since both of my dogs were pups. There were excited when they arrived there again recently which indicates to me that they are happy there. They even used my special biscuits that one of my dog requires with no fuss. Dogs returned happy, healthy and lovely and clean. Awesome place.
I also have a different experience to the people below. Our dog, rottie/Shepard cross, has been going to chandler on and off for the last four yrs. we looked at many kennels in the area but found chandler to be the best to suit our dog. By request he needs to be housed away from others due to his temperament and this has never been an issue even over peak periods where other kennels have refused due to this need. He is always happy in our return and eager to jump out of ute on arrival.
