Charcoal Grill On The Hill

Steak and fries. That's pretty much the concept here. They do sell other dishes like pork and chicken or oysters entree but when I was here, pretty much everyone in the restaurant had a steak with fries. It's what they're known for so why would you order anything else? Each cut of steak comes in different sizes and the friendly staff are very patient in explaining what cut is which and how the cows were fed etc. They have a very extensive wine list here and I personally really enjoyed the cheese platter.

Overall - great steak at a fairly steep price, I wouldn't drive all the way out here to eat steak, but if I'm in the area and craving a quality steak then this is the place to go.

We took some clients out for lunch at this restaurant. At first i thought it was great, but as it filled up the noise of the restaurant was unbearable. The waiter was yelling at the table next to us as they had a hard time trying to hear him, i could not hear my clients speak and it was just really unconformable. The waiter was slow to serve and the tables were tight. Once the food came out, it was very simple- streak and chips with a little bit of lettuce and cabbage. My steak was cooked nicely but my directors steak was very underdone (red runny - for a med steak). food was nice but the noise really let it down.

you would not want to visit this restaurant on a new date or with important clients like we did.
