We love this place. My daughter has attended a number of children's parties here. They really do go the extra mile with a whole lot of little things. Remembering and addressing every child by name, preparing generous pass-the-parcils, etc. So impressed that we now take private lessons there. He is an excellent teacher. Cant recommend Charisma highly enough.
We've danced everywhere on the South East side and have to say Charisma's our favourite! Robert's very friendly and goes through things slowly, for the beginners class, there's also advance classes and social Fridays. The price is great, the cheapest in Melbourne $95 for 3 times a week, for a month. While it's questionable how often the hall is cleaned, and if the glasses are washed with soap/in a dishwasher don't let that stop you - BYO!
Went to a child's birthday party here and was extremely embarrassed with how the host spoke to me in front of a room full of people.. Shouting from the middle of the room.. Telling me ( singling me out ) to make sure my son doesn't run around. He is 3 it's a disco party. He wasn't being a naughty child. In fact far from it. He was having fun.
My son was drawn to the mirror we were asked not go near the mirror as a whole group as it's not safe.. My son kept going to it. Was hard on me having to stop him. Then the hosts shouts out.. It's going to be a tough afternoon once again in front of a room full of people.
Sadly we left not being able to enjoy the party. Sadly we missed our friends Birthday.
Definitely won't be recommending..
I think the host is proud that they remember names.. Maybe make it on how you speak to people.
What a fabulous place for a kids dance party!, Eveything you need with great sound system, disco lighting, kitchen facilities and lots of parking. Plus Robert and his team will exceed your party expectations. If your kids are into dance, this is the place to go for a great event with nothing to do but turn up and have a good laugh (and they do lessons too).
