Charminar Indian Restaurant

Nearby to my area, decided to have dinner here with my parents when they popped around last week. We had a quick meal here at Charminar on Anzac Highway as we all hadn’t been here before nor had Indian cuisine in a while. The service was friendly and quick and the food we ordered were very tasty. Could never go wrong with the butter chicken and naan breads! Cheering that this restaurant is around the corner from me!

What a disappointment. Saag Paneer without any spinach but consisting of a noxious congealed gravy with some very dodgy looking cottage cheese. The taste was disgusting. Vegans want to eat food that doesn't look like it just came out of a can of PAL. I wished I had gone to the supermarket and spent $2 (instead of $20) and had pumpkin soup instead.

I had a horrible experience of dining with my family and parents at Charminar Restaurant on Anzac Highway. In the name of courtesy and customer service we were being pointed fingers by the management of the restaurant and told me that they own 20 restaurants and couldnt care less about customers. I was told as being the rudest customer when I asked them about my order and was told I am not welcome again. You will get the same great customer service at this restaurant if you happen to order more curries and breads in between your meals and ask when they will be served after waiting for 20 minutes without any food. The management will first tell you that you should order everything at one go and not in between meals, then print and show you the order slip with the time and tell you rudely that in between meals order will take at least this long to serve. I live overseas and dream of the day when I can order dinner at La Spag again. No other restaurant measures up.
