Seriously folks, don't dare complain if you have a problem with your food. I had an unpleasant experience here today in the newly revamped Church & Main. I ordered the Bacon & eggs on sour dough from the All day breakfast menu with an added sausage + pot of tea for one ($22). Well all was well until I tried the sausage which tasted (to me) HIGH or about to go off. I ate all but the sausage and told the waitress when she asked how it all was. She spoke to the cook/ owner (LEE) and his message from the kitchen was " I had one this morning and they're fine". I said "ok but I'd like it taken off the bill" and off she went again to consult with Lee. Now you'd think at this stage Lee would have the manners to come out of the kitchen and talk to me about it but no, the message came back that it would not be taken off the bill. This is one of the best restaurants in Healesville. The menu is fantastic and the Kangaroo is the best Kangaroo dish I've ever had. I'm a local of Healesville and this has been one of my favourite places to go with my wife over the last six years or so. Staff are normally very friendly and attentive in their service, and the food is always of a high quality with great flavours.
