Coffee Brothers
Brother's Tony and Mark came together with their love of coffee to create The Coffee Brothers. The Coffee Brothers is becoming the place to be for amazing coffee, excellent customer service, a warm smile and a relaxing place to catch up with friends and family.
Oh, and if you're wondering where our coffee comes from - all you need to know is that it's from a very remote island full of mystic and ancient custom practices.
Absolutely delicious coffee hiding away on a street in Mona Vale. I hear some people commute from the city for it (that seems a bit extreme...) and it sure is tasty. Nice decor, lots of friendly regulars who pop in after a swim or cycle, or very early in the morning before a commute into the CBD. Tasty brekky menu too and some good looking sandwiches and cakes in the window.
This place is so popular whenever we drove past that I had to try it. Lots of cheap easy chairs made from milk crates seems to be the trend but cleverly covered with hessian sacks and plastic cover. Loads of space to sit both in and outdoors. The coffee was delicious and there is a substantial breakfast menu. I'd like to go back when I have more time as there seems to be some che sorry behind their brand and coffee making. And they made it in the top ten in 300,000 coffee shops....bravo!!!!
The service is friendly, the staff young and know their stuff. It's a bit of a hole in the wall, tucked away in the middle of no where, near an industrial block and a random Coles. Just up the road from Mona Vale beach, it's perfectly located for after a surf or picnic if you want to get away from the main drag of hipster-laiden cafes and boutiques. Great coffees, slices and meals but terrible, TERRIBLE, milkshakes. So really, go here for a caffein-fix, not so much for the sugar!
