Cos Restaurant

Had a fabulous late meal with friends after a Conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
Seated outside under the stars, and trees with a great local wine and amazing Italian food - what more could you ask for! Brilliant fun had by all, highly recommended!
The stuffed zucchini flowers and gnocchi were amazing!

Unfortunately, I wouldn't go back. We went there for our anniversary recently and were asked to wait outside (even though we had booked a table a week earlier). This didn't trouble us too much, however, we were not offered a drink. 15-20 minutes later, we were seated at a table, with no apology for waiting, nor drink service. 40 mins after arriving, we FINALLY got our drinks AFTER chasing them up, again with no hint of an apology. We ordered our entree 50 mins in... When you pay a little extra to go somewhere nice, you'd think you'd get good service. We don't mind waiting if it's busy, as long as the staff acknowledge this.... a small hint of an apology would have gone a LONG way.

I recently attended a function at Cos in the upstairs space. The staff were very helpful, the service was good and the meal excellent. The room can get a ltitle noisy and I noticed its not air conditioned - so might be very warm on a hot day. Overall a good experience.

We had a function here this week and I had a great experience.

The steak was beautifully tender and the service was fantastic. The little upstairs room is the perfect space for intimate functions like ours.

The only thing that lost Cos their two stars in my opinion was the Caesar Salad, I had the most bitter-tasting, old lettuce with parts of some leaves having turned brown. This is just not good enough for a dish your restaurant is famous for.

Other than that, I really enjoyed my experience at Cos and will return next time I'm in town.
