Value for money. Laid back. Ambiance is pleasurable but nothing special. Service is friendly and there is a nice cake stand with some yummy treats. There is a two for one breakfast deal on Tuesdays. The menu is quite varied - everything from toast to nachos to burgers. Mainly indoor seating, a small number of outdoor tables.
Many moons ago as a new member of the Fourth Estate (Media) I was asked to write a review on Canberra's Nosh-up venues and I've no been game to since. Ah! but last Thursday (October 10) was a joy to do. Milady's mum was celebrating her 98th birthday and we elected to do it at Kim's. Good move ladies. From the moment we made our booking with Kirsty until we said 'bye to Kim we were pampered. Little things such as looking after our parcels; preparing the Black Forest Cake and candles, nothing was too much trouble.

I recently went to Country Coffee for lunch. After finally placing my order and waiting over half an hour, I received the wrong meal. Already having already spent most of my lunch break waiting to be served and then waiting for the food, I did not have time to wait another half hour to get the meal I ordered. I dont think I will be returning to eat. On the up side, the coffee was great.
