Welcome to Crown Medical Centre
Crown Medical Centre is a brand new purpose-built medical facility located in Wollongong's CBD and medical precinct. The medical centre provides a one-stop shop with general practitioners, practice nurses, on site pathology, radiology and pharmacy. It is envisioned that allied health professionals and specialists will be invited to see patients at the centre in the near future. The practice is completely computerised and offers doctors all the latest computer and medical equipment.
It is staffed by very experienced administrative and nursing staff with plans to be accredited in 12 months and become a credentialed teaching practice in the future.
There are seven good-sized consulting rooms, a treatment area with three cubicles, two waiting areas, a combined lunch and training room and offices for admin staff.

It’s super easy to book an appointment, and the overall facilities are fine, doctors are super helpful etc. But the receptionist/s that I have dealt with lack a level of professionalism. I had a missed call from this business, call it back, and was astounded at the receptionists incapacity to handle the call. She didn’t once announce why I’d been called and I felt like I had to carry the entire conversation. I had to repeat several times that I couldn’t make a time that she was trying to move my appointment to, keep in mind she didn’t apologise or inform me once as to why it was being moved in the first place. When I arrived at the doctors, I was ignored for several minutes as she continued to speak to others around me before she loudly announced my address when confirming my details, which is fine and the lady seemed lovely it just didn’t seem very professional whatsoever. My husband (29) and I (27) went to this practice Jan 2014, we rang at 5.15 were able to get in at 5.45pm the same day. We would just like to Thank the team from the reception staff to the Doctor, everyone was welcoming and friendly. This is the first Doctor we have seen in Wollongong that doesn't treat you like a number, Dr Sarah Veitch actually takes her time with you, asking questions and genuinely cares. We are both so happy we have found our new family GP and to top it off the centre Bulk bills. It can't get any better than that! :)
This medical clinic literally opened the week I went there (Oct 2013), but the service I received was like I was an old friend. I had to make a sudden trip to Wollongong due to illness of a family member but didn't bring important medication or paperwork for me with me. Everyone - from the reception staff to the dr - completely understood my needs, were helpful, and were able to assist. There was no waiting at all - I could just walk in and get help - and no stress.
2 days later, my mum had the same issues as me as she also had rushed there and they helped her even more easily.
