Appalling customer service! When I was there for an alteration, the staff actually answered a personal phone call during the fitting! Made comments about how I had lost weight, which I found rude and unsettling. When I brought my gown home and inspected it closely, I found that there were loose threads and the train hadn't been reattached properly. Find somewhere else if you want to have your dress altered! :(

My wife purchased her dress here and it near on ruined our wedding. the staff were great the day she picked out the dress, but she was told when she came for her fitting that the dress could not be made the way she had been told she could have it, this was the reason she purchased the dress! all of the staff were horrible and rude and when I emailed the management requesting some sort of an explanation, they ignored it, finally after calling and being hung up on by them, the management replied stating that they don't care for my offensive email and would not answer offer any expiations as to the issues we had. I was served by Chris, as a walk in. The service was excellent, I found my perfect gown in my price range. She listened to what I wanted and picked out gowns that would suit my body. There was no pressure. She was lovely to my daughter. She recognized the need for a less expensive gown as I already have a family but still want to look special. Looking at the other reviews I am surprised. I also love that there was a lovely range of gowns rather than a thousand different takes on the frilly strapless.

After Service Terrible thought the service was great until the dress came for my daughter. The gown would not stay up - yes I agreed her bust was large but this was a made to measure gown and they assured me that 1. She would not need to wear a bra 2. That they would build one in and that it was laced at the back she would be able to adjust it. We went to pick up the gown and they said 1. She needs a strapless bra! as the dress would not stay up. 2.Then they said that they would recommend putting straps on and charge me more money for the privilege. This is 2 days before the ball. We were not happy but understood this was needed. Did not agree to pay at this stage. They said to come in the next day my daughter tried the dress on again and found that they had twisted the strap so again we could not pick up the gown. Day of the ball we pick it up and they had a nerve to charge me.

Never will I recommend them to anyone!!!

Disgusting service with the rude management. As a designer myself, the dresses we saw were outdated and looked unflattering. We were treated terribly upon entry, spoken to with zero respect and simply had the worst experience possible. A very uninspiring place plus horrific service. Please don't waste your time at Cupid's Bridal Mt Lawley, seriously.
