DARNA Restaurant

we have dined here for dinner twice so far, and we wish we lived a bit closer so we could come here more often! it's a middle eastern restaurant with very generous sized meals and reasonable prices. we have tried the "chargrilled prawn and calamari" salad $23, which is scrummy and the lamb (2 skewers of lamb with pita, 3 dips, salad) for $24. we tried a dessert the second visit -the fruit salad with sorbet for $12 which was more than enough for 2 people. dips are home made, seafood done superbly, salads dressed great, coffees excellent. there is lots to chose from on the menu including pizzas, salads, wraps, pastas, soups,antipasto, etc. staff are very very welcoming and friendly, including with families with young children. it is small inside so it's best to book ahead, bit there are also some tables out on street available. they do take away too, what more could you ask for!
