The daunting task of my partner and I finding the perfect engagement ring is a bewildering task as I'm sure we can all agree, especially with little knowledge despite doing some research. Diamonds International in Brisbane City was our first experience and by far the best. Afterwards, we attended a number main stream and independent jewellery stores that frankly left us disappointed questioning their professionalism and motives.

I was referred to Poppy at Diamonds International by a friend of mine. My husband had lost his wedding ring (swimming with our kids in the surf) and after approx 1 year we decided to replace it.
Poppy was especially helpful and efficient. Quotes, measurements, etc... . She made the process very easy. In fact, Poppy was so good we chose her over the jeweller who made the original wedding band. The ring arrived sooner than expected and is perfect. We will definintely be back.
My ring was beautiful but the customer service is bad. We dealt with a staff and made it clear they didn't want to waste their time with quotes and wanted money. Staff wasn't friendly, in fact none of them are. So unfriendly and i felt like I was being judged and ripped off (the staff in the city was so pushy and we only wanted a quote but they wanted money, we walked out) . I went In before the sale to get a quote and I was told $5.700 for the ring. I come in during the sale hoping to get it half price and I paid the same price but somehow the ring is valued at $9,500. I would only recommend them for the sale and that's it. Don't expect friendly staff and wait for the sale before going in. My main diamond is now loose after having it cleaned, they said it was because if the dirt that got caught under the diamond but it wasn't dirty at all. Their machine is probably too rough I'd say.
