Doug's Seafood Cafe

This used to be my favourite fish and chips but in the last few years the serving sizes have gotten smaller. I find the potato scallops are always dry also. In saying that the pricing is good and the food etc is delicious. Cash only which is quite annoying.

Dougs is a favourite for our family and I always recommend it to friends. Food is always yum and it's a nice spot. They DONT have eftpos so you need to have cash. Only recent problems are that they've changed their seating and there's not enough room to move between tables, also they use to table deliver your meals and this wasn't the case on Wednesday at lunch which was making difficult for older people.

Very tasty seafood but it's also quite pricey especially when there's so much competition in the area. Still we keep going back ao they're obviously doing something right, try to avoid going right on dinner time if you want to get a seat at the cafe...or bring a picnic rug and go eat across the road by the water!

We love going be here for our fish and chips and the only problem we have ever had is the wait, if there busy you could be waiting for 30mins but it's worth it. Cod and chips is a favorite with my lot.
