We used to have family holidays here a bit and I have some very fond memories of Dreamworld. I went on the Ekka show day with my cousin and her kids as we found cheap tickets on RACQ. It was so quiet. Now is the time to visit. There were pretty much no queues for anything. A lot of the outlets around were closed due to the lack of visitors. We had a great day on all the rides!!
I hadn't been to Dreamworld for years, but recently was invited to an after hours event for an Awards Night and couldn't believe how much had changed.
Our drinks were served from Mr Ping's in the Kung Fu Panda area, but we passed the Madagascar fun on the way.
Everything is larger than life, clean and well maintained and I can't believe how many more rides there are now.
Practice for BeatBox was also happening whilst we were there and that looked like a good holiday bonus - if you're prepared to stick around for a 7pm start and aren't wishing you were already in bed by then.
My kids don't need me to take them anywhere anymore, but Dreamworld would still be a great family day out - off peak of course!
