On the first visit with new management, the pepper gravy resembled something more of an infused sauce blended with bits of cracked pepper.
Giving it a second chance one fine Sunday afternoon, I enjoyed the live music but was disappointed with the hour long wait for a share plate, which was only delivered to my table after mistakenly being delivered to the incorrect table first. Naturally, a person from the incorrect table sampled my share plate prior to the waiting staff realising their mistake and collecting it, allowing the person to place what they had taken back onto the plate, before delivering it to us. Delightful.
Wow - the NEW OWNERS rock! The Brunswick is better than ever with new owners and a revamp. They now have 4 vegetarian dishes! What other pub in adelaide can boast that?? And oh - most of their produce is local, within about 100ks.
If you haven't been for a while - go back! Music on Sunday arvos with a blazing fire while it rains outside is pretty cool too....
Thanks Brooke - it's looking really good.
The Brunwick's dining prices are high for the quality and quantity of served meals. On our only dining visit, both my partner and I left hungry and disappointed. By the time we had finished our meals, many others in our large group were still waiting to be served. There is more to this pub though- they do have some interesting boutique drinks on offer, friendly staff and some presentable (albeit plain) function rooms upstairs.
