I hired a car for the day during my recent stay in Cairns. I had not used East Coast previously, but I was very satisfied with their service. I only booked the day before, over the phone and that was easy. I picked up my car the next morning. Their office is located in Sheridan Street, which is the main highway out of town. The admin took about 10 minutes and then there was a "scratch and dent" check of my car. I was out within about 20 mins. The car was great, already full of petrol. It drove really well, with no problems at all. I would definitely use this car hire company again
