My wife and I celebrated our wedding here in late September 2014 and we could not have been happier. The reception was beautiful, the food was delicious and the wait staff were friendly and on the ball. The owners were also great with everything. They were very helpful with everything leading up to the wedding and even provided us with 2 food tastings. On the night one of my groomsman split his pants and the reception provided him with spare pants. I would definitely recommend this reception to everyone as the service and the experience was amazing.
DO NOT TRUST OR LEAVE YOUR PERSONAL PROPERTY WITH THESE PEOPLE.
THEY DO NOT HAVE A TICKETED PROPERTY CHECK-IN SYSTEM. On arrival at the reception centre, I asked a staff member at the door where I could leave an item of personal property. He indicated to leave it with him at the door and that it would be alright. At the end of the night I went to retrieve my item but it could not be located. A manager was called who was also unable to locate my item. We went to what appeared to be a lost property room where he told me to take a replacement. I could not believe what I was hearing. I told him I didn't want anyone else's rubbish but that was as far as I got with this person. My umbrella was a high quality Callaway Double Canopy Golf Umbrella thst cost $80.00 (which I told you on the night) and large enough to protect my family of 4 from the rain. It was brand new and that evening was the first time I used it. I still have the receipt to prove it. As a replacement you asked me to pick from a selection of small discarded junk umbrellas that would not be worth more than a few dollars. What an insult. We have been gokng yo reception for 20 years and we never had a problem with anything ,so if you're not happy don't tarnish their name they are the best.☺
What happened to this place!?
I'm very Disappointed with the service, the menu same as before two years when we had 2 family functions.. It's boring!
Definitely is not the same service like back then, even the management looks like they are not motivated anymore!!!

First of all we cant explain in words and cannot thank everyone enough at Emerald Reception for their great service and hospitality.The reception was amazing especially the background water feature and amazing dry ice and fireworks, this was the highlight of the night and felt like a dream!!!!!!! Wouldn't stop getting comments about the reception and constant compliments on the food! Our guests were very happy and more important the bride and groom. We definitely recommend this venue!!!!!

We were very pleased with all aspects of the reception held at Emerald in January 2013. The food, drinks, service, aesthetics and helpfulness of the owner and staff were all first rate. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent value for money. We had great feedback from our guests and would highly recommend Emerald Receptions,
