Emu Plains Mower & Chainsaw Centre

I wish I had read the reviews before I bought my $6K mower there. I took it back for its 5 to 10 hour inspection and a relatively minor warranty issue which they had known about since delivery. They expected me to leave my mower there for at least 4 weeks before they would get around to servicing it! Not even a warranty issue would make them budge from their intractable policy. I feel that they are neglectful of consumer rights because service claims delayed is as "good as" service claims denied. Manager became abusive when I was trying to leave after reclaiming my mower.

Appalling, has to refer them to Department of Fair Trading, no understanding of Australian Consumer law requirements. Appalling customer service

The people at emu plains mowers were very helpful with my mower. being 86 years old I have trouble starting my mower but they made sure it was easy to start and reliable, and young Kirk the mechanic was very kind to lift the mower into my car when I picked it up. A lovely young man and great service

They don't give a stuff. We took a chainsaw there (intact) for warranty repair. They were "unable to contact the manufacturer" to verify the warranty.

When we went to pick it up, they told us to go back to the store we bought it, (who had told us to take it to them in the first place) and handed us a box with the chainsaw in pieces, and one of the chain bar bolts missing. (which we didn't discover till we got home).

Will NEVER go back - for anything.
