Essa Hair

Been going to Essa for 10+ years - the staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome, also helps that one of the few hairdressers that know how to do good blond colouring without it going orange. Even when i moved interstate i used to get my hair done when visiting family.

3 strikes, you're out! I've been going to Essa for 10 years now for both cut and colour. But after the last three visits, I'll never go back again. This place has really gone downhill the last couple of years. I kept giving them another chance, and another chance, and another, but now I'm done. Everything from the staff washing my hair giving me a deep conditioning treatment, and then trying to charge me $20 for it at the end (w/o telling me first). In all but one of my last five visits, my coffee order was taken and never delivered. Currently my financial situation only allows me to get my hair done twice a year. The hairdresser has been quite snotty and condescending about this over the last several visits. Even insulted me twice. Commented on the regrowth from my highlights/foils and said "you're too old to pull off the ombr look, so everyone must know you just can't afford to get your hair done."
