After weeks of arrangements and only a quarter of the scaffolding, David withdrew from the job. Really poor communication throughout. They subcontract the job and the sub contractors seemed to be decent people who turned up to start but got told last minute that the job was cancelled. We did not ask them to do anything unsafe. They decided to put up three walls of scaffolding to do the 2 storey external walls and windows but they didn't even start.
I have nothing but good words for the job I had from Fairfax Painting: The price was way cheaper then some of these rip off painters that prey on the vunerable. The painter came out done a great job and actually exceeded what is requirement was. And yes on time Painting.
Don't believe this treader. After they get the job, all interpretations of their commitment change. Their subcontractor did poor quality work. Supervising person inveraiabily support the poor work as excellent. Often rude and disrespectful if pointed to any poor workmanship. On the top of it does not respect their warranty. If you believe this treader, you are on you own.

Fairfax have done work for us in the past and we were happy but my experience his time was absolutely terrible! Had arranged to have my business premises painted in the week I was away on holidays and moved furniture, removed window furnishings etc. The painter appointed turned up for 1/2 hour on the 1st day and never showed up Again! The company called and said they didn't know where he was and couldn't get in touch with him and sorry there was nothing they could do and no one else to do the job! Never heard from them again! Will NEVER use this company and wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Complete disgrace!!
This job was booked and our painter had organised the colours etc. for the next day.
However our painter was suddenly taken ill and he couldn’t do the job as planned. These things happen which are out of our control.
This job was then going to be done over the Xmas holidays, but on ringing her, she told me it had already been done by others. She was very cross we couldn’t do it for when the Medical Centre was closed.
Sickness and accidents do happen in life but we try everything possible to help.
