Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses

Went to Altona Gate Ferguson today to order a 60th birthday cake which is in 2 weeks time and was taken back by the elderly man behind the counter telling me that they were too busy to help me. The young girl behind the counter looked just as stunned as I was. What happened to customer service. Won't be going back there again. I will be ordering my birthday cake else where.

Really like the convenience of Feguson Plarre being around. I was in need to bring a dish over to friends place, didnt have time to make or bake anything. So i quickly popped into Altona Gate and love that Ferguson has already made cakes that you can just pick and pay. No need to order the ones on the window. Perfect size and perfect dish to bring to anyones house. The ALtona Gate Ferguson wasnt busy so it was a quick in and out for me which i like. The cake i chose looked and taste fresh. The sponge and the cream and the flaky white chocolate all went well together. It was enought for everyone to have a slice and everyone very much cleaned up their plate which is a good sign.

Stopped by here for a cake on the way to a dinner party. The friendly gentlemen behind the country was very bubbly and chatty and gave good recommendations as we were undecided between a few cakes. Ended up going with the sponge cake which I would recommend as it wasn't too sweet and was so soft ans spongy. Will definitely be trying more cakes from Fergusons!
