again had to lift a heavy 20kg bag of plastering product which was very heavy. the store was empty while 3 male staff member watched me struggle to drag and lift it from back of store onto counter and lift it up onto counter. not anywhere near as helpful, available and friendly as used to be in past. handy timber yard at back with most things you need for any renovating jobs. good reward card available now

we are here almost every weekend and usually a pleasant experience. last visit was pretty annoyed, bought items from timberyard at back (wood/plastering materials) and person in yard happily accepted my female help of helping them carry plaster sheets off shelves to my car but chose bot to return the favour helping me get them up on roof and strapped (chose to stand by and watch waiting for next customer). inside store 3 of us waited to be served at registers for 5 mins or more while a shopkeeper continued to stack shelves nearby. eventually another shop keeper noticed and came and served the customers that had been waiting after me without bothering to ask who had been waiting first (of course the customer was very aware who was waiting first but selfishly made no attempt to alert shopkeeper and than proceeded to take her time telling the shopkeeper all the boring details of what she was doing with garden pots she was purchasing so ...read more

Definitely the most helpful hardware store I have been to in a long time. The staff was exceptionally helpful and their product range exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be returning soon.

highly recommend this "Home" hardware store. it is well stocked with hardware items, painting materials, building supplies, basic landscaping supplies and other renovating supplies at competitive prices. the best part about the business is the staff who are very informative and have plenty of time to spend helping you with items you require, which is a nice change, plenty of parking, open weekends.
