My visit to this place costed me roughly 2000$ was quoted for a part and was assured it to be reconditioned as i did had a wrecker supplying second hand.
The guy was adamant to install recon so i left it upto him.
Still he couldnt fix the issue and when i rocked up i saw 2 second hand parts ge was trying to install which obviously didnt work so he had recon part sitting hoping for second hand parts to work so he can make more money.
Had to tow the vehicle second time and a mechanic down the road fixed rhe issue in $850 within a day.
This guys quoted me cheaper than 850 however wasted my whole working week and i lost $1500 income plus extra for tow.
I've had a problem with my car for the last three months. I have read the review of dodgy gas and have asked around the area of three mechanics, who are very well known in the area and they highly recommended Gas Master and so I took the risk and found that they were great and were very kind and professional at their work and resolved my problem with my car. My Holden has been running better than I have experienced in the past. So I highly recommend gas master to anyone who is wishing to get there car fixed.
Picked up my car after Gas Conversion done, at Gasmaster, Sara Grove, Tottenham.
Exhaust was hanging off and coolant leaks were found when I got home. Car undrivable.
Made numerous calls to Gasmaster management. None were returned.
Also found the Electronic Control Unit (Gas Computer) jammed into the fuse box.
Called AAFRB.
Their free Inspection found Gas Installations, including Main Gas Line rubbing on Brake Line, lack of exhaust shielding, and it was noted that the vehicle required testing of the Ignition System.
Test done. Found the Pulse Indicator mis-wired to the coil, during installation, causing the engine to run poorly and stall/not start.
Took it elsewhere to be repaired properly.
Came in for a quote LPG gas system fix, came out $50 poorer. Did attempted to fix as they were checking, but it turn out to be a major problem. Wasn't told that i would be charge but told me later that just to look at the car would have cost me $80. So I got a $30 discount, woo hoo. First time I been charge to get a quote. Hope this review help some one else. Next time always ask the cost, never assume.
