Usual spot for grabbing qUick meal when catching the movies. Love the 10% discount deal with movie tickets. Tried the salmon avocado pizza, very delicious!

The quality of the train is definitely a bit better than other sushi train restaurants but I find the service slow at times when I've orderes from the menu

The food here is great, you can sit down and eat from the sushi train, order small meals such as chicken curry or get take away. The food has always been quick and good quality. They also have gelati which is awesome.

Just to really confuse you, there's actually two Ginga restaurants within a block and a half of each other here. This one on Grey Street is the cheaper/lower key cousin to the fancier one around on Stanley Street, and it's my go-to for a quick and inexpensive meal. The sushi train is attached to this one, as well as the left side of the restaurant being for a-la-carte ordering. Most main meals are $10-20. Above all else would recommend the cheese-covered curry rice; I know it sounds weird but the combination of melted cheese, japanese curry and fried rice beneath is actually really amazing!

Whilst the menu matches the Emporium Ginga, this venue and the food falls short of the expectations I held for the whole experience.
The sushi from the train was ok, though all of it had a particular taste, perhaps the containers they were stored in or the fridges, it was a consistent slight taste that seemed to not belong. The ordered Katsu Curry to take away was nice, but heavy on the rice and not the curry. Though packed for takeaway, the items were separated in the one cardboard container which is something nice, that I haven't seen before.
The venue is large and divided (train seating and table seating), modern and pleasant. TV's above the restaurant screened anime above the tables. Staff spoke more Australian English than the staff at the Emporium and were very polite.
