Glen Helen Resort

We loved Glen Helen when we stayed there a couple of months ago, however our second time was terrible. We booked in earlier that week to their restaurant and when we arrived on Friday and made sure we where booked in for Saturday night. They showed me the booking book and I seen two other booking for the same night. We arrived early on Saturday for dinner and where told that our table was outside, I challenged this and the staff told me that they don't do our size tables inside, I said that we where here two months earlier with the same amount of people. They didn't say anything else and lead us to the outside table, we where placed on a table with plastic chair, it was cold and we still had to pay $30+dollars for a scotch fillet hmmm. One of a few places to eat along this very long road: and what a view! One of the great things here too is it's literally a 5 minute walk from the resort to the actual Gorge. Also available are icecreams, local and other beers + assorted alcoholic beverages plus the general touristy things.

There's also a small aviary with some local birds that's interesting enough.

Only saw the accommodation from a distance but it looked average enough.
