Glendower Restaurant

My partner & I attended the restaurant for our anniversary & had a lovely evening. The staff were friendly & relaxed. The buffet was overflowing with food, especially with desserts. The wine list was very good, though a few more local options would be nice.

We had a little giggle at the slightly daggy decorating but were awed by the building & the view & vowed to come back in summer where we could enjoy that amazing view to the fullest extent on that stunning deck! We left with huge smiles & full bellies, we highly recommend :-)

My son got married here Feb 2013. We cannot speak highly enough of the venue. We had the cocktail wedding package. The food was ample, varied and delicious. The setting was beautiful. We couldn't fault the service - staff were polite, friendly and helpful. We didn't know if the weather would hold and the owners were supportive of a backup plan if it did rain. Fortunately it held and we were able to enjoy the beautiful gardens. We have no hesitation in recommending Glendower for a wedding. If you are planning to marry outside however - make sure you bring a microphone for the oldies who can't manage the steps and levels.

This letter was sent to the Management - even after a phone call to make sure they received the letter it remains unanswered - I wasn't even asking for anything just wanting to point out the problems we experienced.
